Why This Exists
Timestamp is an independent artist interview and documentation project.
It exists to record long-form conversations with artists and cultural workers without optimizing for trends, algorithms, or institutional agendas. The goal is not speed or scale — it’s continuity, depth, and long memory.
This work takes time, labor, and resources to produce and maintain. Rather than relying on advertising, speculative grants, or brand sponsorships, Timestamp is supported directly by a small group of people who believe this archive should continue to exist.
What Your Support Makes Possible
Direct support helps cover:
- Artist interviews and documentation
- Editing, archiving, and preservation
- Equipment, hosting, and production costs
- The ability to remain independent and say no to misaligned funding
Support does not increase output.
It protects the conditions under which the work is made.
How Support Works
Support for Timestamp is structured as monthly patronage.
Patrons are not paying for extra content or special access in exchange for attention. They are helping sustain an independent archive over time.
In return, patrons receive early access, process material, and periodic context around how the work is made — shared quietly and without performance.
Who This Is For
Supporting Timestamp may be right for you if:
- You value artist conversations that are slow, thoughtful, and unoptimized
- You believe independent cultural archives should exist outside institutions
- You want to support work without shaping or directing it
- You prefer continuity over novelty
There is no obligation, urgency, or expectation.
Become a Patron
Monthly patron support is hosted externally to keep payments and communication simple.

Institutional Support
timestamp also works directly with universities, museums, libraries, and cultural organizations through annual institutional patronage.
Institutional supporters receive acknowledgment and access for students or staff, and help ensure the long-term preservation of the archive.

Timestamp is not a content platform.
It is an archive in progress.
If this work has been meaningful to you — or if you believe it should continue to exist — your support helps make that possible.
No pressure.
No performance.
Just alignment.
Timestamp is independently produced and supported by patrons.
